Gathering the Light

Andrew Davis presents “Gathering the Light.” “Light” has carried symbolic significance to us for centuries, usually focusing on something outside of ourselves like the sun, stars, or even our own chalice. It gives us hope even in the darkest of times.  But the real source of light we value so much is not “out there,” but within ourselves.  When we gather the light, we gather ourselves to search for hope and the inner strength that leads to action. Join us as we celebrate the gathering of the “lights” we have each tended from afar until they and we could be together again.  Please bring a candle or chalice you have used at home for worship or meditation during our shut-down to light and share with the congregation.

The church has reopened for vaccinated in-person Sunday Services through July.  Social distancing and masks are requested.  Or you may join us online for the live service using Zoom Invitation.  You may also like to follow along using the Order of Service and the Hymn Lyrics.
