“Already Broken: A Buddhist Perspective on the Season of Spring” and “Wandering Pilgrimage”

In “Already Broken,” Rev. James Ishmael Ford encourages us to acknowledge the transitory nature of all things and  to appreciate everything and everyone in our lives while they are here; to live in the moment rather than putting things off for another day which may not come. In “Wandering Pilgrimage,” Rev. Susan Maginn expands on Ford’s ideas as she takes us on a spiritual pilgrimage that reflects on our “wandering toward wholeness, healing and transformation, becoming our deepest and truest selves together, knowing we will stumble along the way, and we will restore one another.”

The church is open for in-person Sunday Services for those who are vaccinated, masks are required because of the rising COVID positive rate in Sedgwick County, and social distancing is requested. Or you may join us online for the live service using the Zoom Invitation.  You may also like to follow along using the Order of Service and the Hymn Lyrics.
