Several of our members have marvelously green thumbs. Others have strong backs. And still others are willing helpers wherever they’re needed. They all volunteer their time to keep Betty’s Place and our gardens neat and filled with flowers, and our outdoor areas in general tidy.

Betty’s Place

Betty’s Place is a private, fenced area outside the Children’s RE room, where the children can enjoy a variety of activities. Our gardeners keep it looking attractive.

Monarch Butterfly Garden

First UU of Wichita is proud to provide a certified Monarch butterfly habitat, which the Gardening Group maintains.

Plant Sales

Thanks to the ongoing efforts of our especially green-thumbed members, we have periodic plant sales to help support the church.
