Magda Garrett will present a sermon by Rev. Janet Parsons, minister of the Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church in Massachusetts. Drawing from the book Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert, Parsons rethinks the meaning and source of the creative spirit and argues that all that is required for us to live creatively is that we give ourselves permission to be open to curiosity and risk taking; that we are willing to say “yes” to inspiration instead of “no,” or “I can’t.”
The church is open for in-person Sunday Services for those who are fully vaccinated, masks are optional, and social distancing is requested. Or you may join us online for the live service using the Zoom Invitation. You may also like to follow along using the Order of Service and the Hymn Lyrics.
