Magda Garrett presents “Resilience Practices” by Rev. Dr. Sandra Fees, who states that resilience can stay the course in the midst of pain guided by a “remembered radiance.” Remembering what was good and beautiful, and holding that memory in the heart, can facilitate moving forward into the future. Anna Jenney Campbell reads a story for all ages, and the First UU Choir returns with special music.
While the church is now open for all services and activities regardless of your vaccination status, the Board strongly recommends that all of us be vaccinated and asks that we continue to practice social distancing, when possible, especially when around members and friends who are still opting to wear masks. Online Zoom access is provided for those who cannot attend services or events in person.
