Reparations and Beloved Community

Debbie Wadman presents Rev. Joan Javier-Duval’s “Reparations and Beloved Community.” She quotes Ta-Nehisi Coates, who says “What I’m talking about is more than a handout, a payoff, hush money, or a reluctant bribe” but is “a national reckoning that would lead to spiritual renewal.” Also, Anna Jenney shares a story for all ages.

While the church is now open for all services and activities regardless of your vaccination status, the Board strongly recommends that all of us be vaccinated and asks that we continue to practice social distancing, when possible, especially when around members and friends who are still opting to wear masks. Online Zoom access is provided for those who cannot attend services or events in person.
