Holger Meyer presents “How to Survive the End of the World,” a climate justice sermon from the UUA by Rev. Molly Housh Gordon, who advises to “Stockpile seeds, water purifying tablets, and essential drugs. Learn first aid and how to shoot a gun or crossbow. Relearn the skills your ancestors had, like building shelters and starting fires. Travel with a diverse group with many varied skills, perspectives, hopes, memories. You need the children and the elders too. Check the back seat for zombies before you get in the car.” Laura Black performs special violin music.
While the church is now open for all services and activities regardless of your vaccination status, the Board strongly recommends that all of us be vaccinated and asks that we continue to practice social distancing, when possible, especially when around members and friends who are still opting to wear masks. Online Zoom access is provided for those who cannot attend services or events in person.
