The UU Humanist Group will meet at the church (for those who are vaccinated) and via Zoom.  Wichita has developed several food deserts where sizable areas do not have ready access to well balanced, healthful, nutritious food.  These are low income areas from which grocery stores have fled.  Our two guest speakers are committed to correcting this problem.  Brandon Johnson, Wichita City Council Member First District, will discuss his efforts to work with the city.  Yeni Telles, LMSW, Sunflower Community Action, will discuss her work as a community organizer.  Both guests will discuss what we can do to help.  Contact the Church Office for Zoom information.
