In recognition of the busy times in December, we have has chosen A. A. Milne’s “When We Were Very Young” for reading and discussion. This best-selling book of poetry was first published in 1914 and has been a favorite of children, parents, aunts, uncles, nannies, grannies, and grandpas ever since. We are introduced to Christopher Robin and Winnie-the-Pooh in the book. The discussion will be enlivened by reading about the author (reader’s choice) and sharing the information with the group. We meet at 11:30 for conversation and a brown-bag lunch. Discussion starts at approximately 12 noon.
