We will meet on Zoom only, beginning at 11:30 for lunch, with discussion beginning at 12:00.  Our selection for March is a challenge to read a book that has been banned or challenged.  You should be prepared to tell us who banned it and why, if you agree with the banning or anything else you found interesting or noteworthy.  Here is a list of 24 banned books to get you started: The Catcher in the Rye; A Wrinkle in Time; Fahrenheit 451; The Absolutely True Diary of A Part-Time Indian; Roll of Thunder, Hear Me Cry; The Handmaid’s Tale; Of Mice and Men; The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; The Kite Runner; To Kill a Mockingbird; The Giver; Harry Potter Series; Beloved; The Great Gatsby; Ulysses; The Hate U Give; The Grapes of Wrath; The Color Purple; The Lord of the Flies; Song of Solomon; The Call of the Wild; Lord of the Rings; The Bridge to Terabithia; and I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.
