Our selection for March is The Ice Harvest, the debut novel of Scott Phillips, who was born in Wichita. We will gather on Zoom at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and visiting. 12:00 p.m. for discussion.  As lawyer Charlie Arglist prepares to leave Wichita, Kansas, in 1979, with a suitcase full of stolen money, he revisits the scenes of his past–his angry ex-wife, ex-lovers, cops on the take, and bars filled with secrets that others will do anything to hide.
