Chamber Music Concert
Join us to experience the spiritual qualities found in music. Our program features violinist Evgeny Zvonnikov and pianist Ying Zhu playing Mozart’s “Sonata No. 25 in G Major” and Dvorak’s “Romance in F Minor. Opus 11.” They will be playing both of these works later this year in a recital at Carnegie Hall. Evgeny, assistant concert master of the Wichita Symphony, performed on our concert series last season. A founding musician, Susan Mayo will join Evgeny in a violin cello duo. The Market Street Recorder Quartet rounds out our first chamber music concert of this year with pieces by William Byrd, Domenico Scarlatti, Andrew Charlton and Scott Joplin. Refreshments will be provided at intermission. A $10 donation is suggested. However, all are welcome. Come and enjoy.
