Carol Neighbor, now in her 80th year, has been madly in love with the recorder for almost six decades. Carol and friends will celebrate that love in a recorder recital. The program will show recorder playing in several settings and in differing styles of music from the Renaissance and Baroque, to modern times, and from consort settings, to sonata, to jazz and folk. Susan Mayo, Emily Baldridge, Dolores Granger, and Greg Golding will be among those musicians performing with Carol in recital. Refreshments will be served. Money offerings will benefit the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Wichita.
