Jana Rambo is a Certified Music Practitioner and retired social worker who began attending First UU in 1999. A newly elected Board of Trustees member, she also serves on the Worship Committee, chairs the Music Committee, and co-chairs the Caring Committee. She grew up Lutheran, from there moved to more conservative religions for several years, but was never quite comfortable with their restrictive teachings. Over time, she began to realize that the major religions share certain teachings about how to live and how to treat others, and learned about the Seven Principles of the UU Church. She especially values the diversity found in Unitarian Universalism. She enjoys reading, gardening, folk music, and her dog.
